This is a program I produced, filmed and edited for The Good Games which was subsequently picked up by CBC Sports. I was tasked with planning out the video coverage for the 3 day event, with multiple locations needing to be tackled with next to zero downtime in the event schedule. I was able to hire and work with some great camera ops who got all their steps in over the 3 days to cover every possible angle of every event at this very unique festival of sport.
We had a plan that we followed (as good as we could... because live events love to mess with your plans), to get the content that could back up a 20 minute documentary style end film. The coverage included interviewing the event organizers, athletes and attendees to build the story of the event. Having an amazing team you can trust to get you the shots makes delivering the final product possible.
