I got to spend the first couple weeks of February over on the left side of the country at Big White in Kelowna, BC.  We were there to produce a couple of shows covering the 2017 World Para Snowboard Championships.  I was there to help produce and edit the 2 hour long shows. When the races were on, I wandered around the hill and shot some pictures of some of the best snowboarders in the world.
2017 World Championship run by  Maxime Mataggioni  of Italy, Mens Upper Limb

Team USA boarder Michael Minor, 2017 Slalom Mens Upper Limb Silver Medallist
Darren Swift of Great Britain. Swifty is the first and currently only competing double above knee amputee snowboarder in the world. This course wasn't suitable for Swifty to compete, but that didn't keep him from getting a few training runs in. Pretty awesome.

Below is the first show we produced, a 48 minute recap of the Snowboard Cross final rounds.

It's no big thing... its just a project that let me work with Harrison Ford, Halley Berry, Uma Thurman, Hugh Jackman... and some others. Actually... If I'm being totally honest, I really only worked with Matt and Amanda at Cineplex, but you don't know them.

CIS on Sportsnet
In case you missed it, last weekend was the CIS Championship Weekend and Rogers Sportsnet covered and broadcast a lot of it. I was brought in by Gleam Media to help create some player and coach profiles that were played throughout the weekend coverage. It was a fun bunch of videos to help create, cause I do dig my sports…
